Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.egotranslate.com and the translation services provided by eGO Translate.

By accessing this website, requesting a quote, submitting documents, accepting a quotation, or purchasing services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit documents.

H2

  1. Translation Services

eGO Translate provides professional English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translation services.

Services may include:

• Legal document translation
• Immigration document translation
• Medical document translation
• Academic document translation
• Financial document translation
• Business and administrative translation
• Certified translation, when agreed
• Non-certified translation
• Recurring agency and legal-office support
• Formatting and proofreading
• Translation revisions

Each assignment is subject to project acceptance, translator availability, document quality, agreed scope, pricing, and deadline.

H2

  1. Translation Services Are Not Professional Advice

eGO Translate provides language services only.

We do not provide:

• Legal advice
• Immigration advice
• Medical advice
• Diagnosis or treatment recommendations
• Tax advice
• Accounting advice
• Financial advice
• Academic credential evaluations
• Notarial services
• Apostille issuance
• Legalization services
• Government representation

A translation communicates the content of a source document. It does not verify the truth, authenticity, legality, accuracy, validity, or sufficiency of the underlying document.

H2

  1. No Guarantee of Acceptance

Government agencies, courts, consulates, immigration authorities, universities, credential evaluators, employers, healthcare providers, banks, and other institutions establish their own document requirements.

eGO Translate does not guarantee that a translation will be accepted by a particular organization.

Clients are responsible for confirming:

• Whether translation is required
• Whether certification is required
• Whether notarization is required
• Whether a sworn translator is required
• Whether an original signature is required
• Whether a physical copy is required
• Whether an apostille or legalization is required
• Whether a particular translator qualification is required
• Whether a specific format or template must be used
• Whether a credential evaluation is required

Any known requirements must be provided before the quotation is accepted.

H2

  1. Requesting a Quote

Translation quotes are based on the documents and instructions available at the time of review.

Pricing may consider:

• Word count
• Page count
• Document type
• Technical complexity
• Formatting
• Tables
• Handwriting
• Legibility
• Certification requirements
• Delivery format
• Deadline
• Project volume

A quote may be revised if:

• Additional pages are submitted
• The source file differs from the file originally reviewed
• New requirements are introduced
• The deadline changes
• The document contains more text than initially visible
• Extensive formatting is required
• The source is incomplete or illegible
• A new certification or delivery method is requested

Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quotation.

H2

  1. Project Authorization

A project begins only after the client:

• Accepts the quotation
• Confirms the scope
• Provides required instructions
• Supplies legible source documents
• Completes any required payment or deposit

Submitting a file for quotation does not automatically create an obligation to translate it.

H2

  1. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

• Providing complete and legible documents
• Providing every page that must be translated
• Providing the front and back when relevant
• Confirming the correct language direction
• Providing the required deadline
• Providing submission instructions
• Identifying certification requirements
• Providing established spellings of names
• Reviewing project details before authorization
• Having lawful authority to submit the documents
• Obtaining consent from other individuals when required
• Verifying that the translation type is appropriate for the intended use

The client must not submit content unlawfully obtained or content the client is not authorized to share.

H2

  1. Names and Proper Information

Names are generally reproduced as they appear in the source document.

When the client wants a name to match a passport, identification document, prior translation, immigration record, or other official reference, that information must be provided before translation.

If two source documents contain inconsistent spellings, eGO Translate may request instructions or preserve the differences.

eGO Translate is not responsible for inconsistencies contained in the original documents or references supplied by the client.

H2

  1. Illegible or Incomplete Content

Text that cannot be read reliably will not be invented.

It may be identified as:

• Illegible
• Partially illegible
• Obscured
• Cut off
• Unreadable stamp
• Signature
• Handwritten entry
• Unclear abbreviation

If a clearer copy becomes available after delivery, additional review or revision may be required.

H2

  1. Formatting

We may reproduce headings, tables, columns, fields, numbers, checkboxes, footnotes, stamps, seals, and signature areas when practical.

Exact visual replication is not guaranteed.

A translation remains a translated document and is not intended to imitate an original government, medical, academic, financial, or legal record.

Decorative elements, watermarks, security features, embossed seals, original signatures, and government logos may be described rather than reproduced.

H2

  1. Certification

When certification is included, the translation may be accompanied by a statement concerning translator competence and the completeness and accuracy of the translation.

Certification does not:

• Authenticate the source document
• Confirm that the source information is true
• Replace notarization
• Replace an apostille
• Replace legalization
• Convert the translator into a sworn translator where that status is legally regulated
• Guarantee institutional acceptance
• Constitute legal advice

Certification must be requested and agreed upon before delivery.

H2

  1. Apostilles and Notarization

eGO Translate may translate the text appearing on an apostille, notarial certificate, authentication, or legalization document.

Translation does not issue, obtain, verify, or replace those formalities.

Unless expressly agreed, eGO Translate does not arrange:

• Apostilles
• Notarization
• Authentication
• Consular legalization
• Embassy processing
• Certified physical copies

H2

  1. Delivery Times

Any delivery estimate is based on the agreed scope, document quality, instructions, and timely payment.

Delivery may be affected by:

• Additional documents
• Unclear source text
• Missing pages
• Delayed client responses
• New formatting requirements
• Technical problems
• Events outside reasonable control

Urgent or same-day service is subject to availability and is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.

H2

  1. Delivery Method

Translations are generally delivered electronically by email or another agreed method.

Available formats may include:

• PDF
• Microsoft Word
• Editable table
• Agency template
• Other agreed digital format

Physical delivery, original signatures, postal shipping, or courier service must be agreed upon separately.

The client is responsible for providing an accurate delivery email address and checking spam or junk folders.

H2

  1. Payment

Payment terms will be stated in the quotation, invoice, or project agreement.

Depending on the assignment, eGO Translate may require:

• Full payment in advance
• A deposit
• Payment before final delivery
• Agreed invoicing terms for recurring clients

The client is responsible for applicable transaction charges, bank fees, or payment-provider charges unless otherwise agreed.

H2

  1. Cancellations

A client may request cancellation before completion.

Amounts payable may depend on:

• Work already completed
• Time reserved
• Research performed
• Formatting completed
• Administrative or payment-processing charges
• Whether the project was urgent

Once work has begun, fees for completed work are generally non-refundable.

If the translation has been completed or delivered, the project is not eligible for cancellation.

H2

  1. Refunds

Because translation is a customized professional service, completed and delivered work is generally non-refundable.

A refund may be considered when:

• Work has not begun
• eGO Translate cannot complete the agreed service
• A duplicate payment occurred
• Another specific refund condition was agreed in writing

A stylistic preference, institutional rejection, changed requirement, source-document error, or failure to provide instructions does not automatically qualify for a refund.

H2

  1. Revisions and Corrections

Clients should review delivered translations promptly.

Requests should identify:

• The relevant page
• The relevant source text
• The translated wording in question
• Any supporting official reference

Confirmed translation errors will be corrected.

Changes based on:

• New source documents
• New instructions
• Preferred wording
• A newly supplied passport spelling
• Institutional feedback
• Changes to the original text
• Expanded scope

may be treated as additional work.

H2

  1. Client Review

The client is responsible for reviewing:

• Names
• Dates
• Addresses
• Identification numbers
• Institutional requirements
• Delivery format
• Certification details

Any concern should be reported promptly and before submission whenever possible.

H2

  1. Confidentiality

Submitted documents are treated as confidential project materials.

Information may be shared with service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate the website, communicate, store files, process payment, prepare translations, or comply with legal obligations.

Additional confidentiality arrangements may be agreed upon for agencies, law firms, and recurring professional clients.

H2

  1. Intellectual Property

The client retains rights in the source material to the extent the client owns or is authorized to use it.

After full payment, the client may use the completed translation for its intended lawful purpose.

eGO Translate retains rights in:

• Translation templates
• Internal processes
• General terminology resources
• Website content
• Branding
• Original service descriptions
• Training or workflow materials

The client may not falsely represent the translation as having been issued by a government institution or alter it in a misleading manner.

H2

  1. Website Content

Website content is provided for general informational purposes.

Although we aim to keep information accurate and current, we do not guarantee that every statement reflects the latest rules of every agency, court, university, government, or jurisdiction.

Visitors must verify current requirements directly with the receiving organization or an appropriately qualified professional.

H2

  1. Prohibited Use

You may not use the website or services to:

• Commit fraud
• Misrepresent a document
• Create forged documentation
• Infringe intellectual-property rights
• Violate privacy rights
• Submit unlawfully obtained information
• Distribute malware
• Interfere with website security
• Impersonate another person
• Facilitate unlawful activity
• Misrepresent a translated document as an original

We may decline or discontinue a project when unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unethical activity is reasonably suspected.

H2

  1. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party services, including Wix, Google, payment providers, cloud services, or external informational resources.

eGO Translate is not responsible for the availability, security, privacy, terms, content, or performance of third-party services.

H2

  1. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that:

• The website will always be uninterrupted
• The website will be free of technical errors
• Every institution will accept a translation
• A translation will produce a particular legal, immigration, academic, medical, financial, or business result
• Third-party services will remain available
• Email or internet transmission will be completely secure

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

H2

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, eGO Translate will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Use of the website
• Institutional rejection
• Client failure to verify requirements
• Errors in the source document
• Illegible content
• Delayed client communication
• Unauthorized alterations after delivery
• Third-party services
• Loss of business, opportunity, profit, or data

Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability concerning a translation project will generally not exceed the amount paid for that specific project, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

H2

  1. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, the client agrees to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Unlawful submission of documents
• Lack of authority to share third-party information
• Fraudulent or misleading use of translations
• Violation of these terms
• Infringement of another person’s rights
• Unauthorized alteration of completed work

H2

  1. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

• Internet outages
• Platform failures
• Power outages
• Natural disasters
• Illness or emergencies
• Government restrictions
• Cybersecurity incidents
• Payment-platform disruptions
• File corruption
• Third-party service interruptions

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate and complete affected work.

H2

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in services, technology, providers, business practices, or legal requirements.

The revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.

H2

  1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

H2

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with an accepted quotation, invoice, project instructions, Privacy Policy, and any written service agreement, represent the agreement concerning the relevant service.

Specific written project terms take priority when they conflict with general website terms.
